At Lagudi Fresh Food Group, we believe in supporting the health and wellness of our community, which is why we have teamed up with local Las Vegas plant-based chef, Pete Ghione. Chef Pete is not only a plant-based eater himself, but is the head chef of the best healthy restaurant in Las Vegas, The Canyon Ranch Grill, as awarded by 'Eat This, Not That'. He has worked as a private chef for cancer patients in helping them take a holistic approach to their healing through their nutrition.

It is with Chef Pete, that we are happy to offer our local Las Vegas residents the opportunity to purchase fresh, chef-curated, nutritious meals straight from our facility...and we're talking breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Our health & wellness meals are heavily focused on not only nutrition, but also flavor. We provide the calorie and macronutrient breakdown for each meal making it easy for customers to choose the meals that fit their daily caloric needs.

Chef Pete Background

Chef Pete Ghione started his cooking career 24 years ago in Shelton, CT where held two jobs simultaneously while in high school prior to graduating from New England Culinary Institute in Burlington, VT. During culinary school, he completed two internships, one in Booth Bay Harbor, ME and the second in Napa CA. After graduation, he moved from Napa, CA to take on Las Vegas, NV.

At the age of only 26 he was promoted to Executive Chef of the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino. He managed a staff of 550 people, 16 restaurants and 22 kitchens in total and fed an average of 16,000 people per day. During his time at the Rio, Chef Pete was also one of five chefs on Team Las Vegas, which was the first year Las Vegas was represented at the World Culinary Olympics in Erfurt, Germany. The team took home a silver medal.

After 7 years total with Caesars Entertainment, Chef Pete began working at Dragon Ridge Country Club in Henderson, NV. It was here where Chef Pete started working with organic ingredients to benefit the members. After building a close relationship with a doctor who specializes in preventative health care, Chef opened his own organic restaurant and really began to specialize in nutrition and inspire people to eat healthy and lose weight.

Chef Pete has been able to share his passion of eating healthy in many magazines and has been on every major news network in Las Vegas dozens of times and also has made TV appearances in Salt Lake City, Utah, Denver, Colorado and Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to running for the Man of Year for the 2020 Leukemia & Lymphoma Society campaign, Chef Pete is the Chairman and Spokesman for Flavors for Life, a non-profit focused on educating our community to eat and cook healthy to eliminate the obesity epidemic.
